Cemara Beach

Cemara beach is located in East Lombok, located between Paradise Beach and Tanjung Ringgit. Most of people still do not know about this beautiful place, maybe because the place is quite secluded and access to the place is quite difficult to be the reason many people do not know Lombok itself, especially from outside the island of Lombok. Actually the beach is very easy to reach.

Cemara Beach is located on a bay with a position slightly indented to the mainland. Even though it’s located in the southern part that directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean, Cemara Beach is suitable for swimming, the waves were pretty quiet. Surfing isn’t recommended here, but playing in the water all day is highly recommended. I don’t think no one can resist from Cemara Beach blue turquoise water color. Just don’t forget bringing your own sunblock, because no one sell such a thing here.

Cemara Beach is one of the many beaches in Lombok that should not be passed. Passion for beauty will give your eyes when you see what this beach. Cemara beach sand is very white and fine as flour. As the name implies, this beach many pine trees. These trees add to the harmony of quiet beaches sloping with its wave. That’s why a lot of the bath and splashing around the beach. Some of them fishing, waiting hook fish struck while enjoying the beauty of the Cemara Beach Cemara.

In the beach you will see so many pine trees around the beach, maybe you think that why this beach named “Pantai Cemara”. Because “Cemara” mean Pine in english. I’m not sure about the real origin of the beach name, but i know the name from one local people that i meet when i wandering around Cemara Beach. If I didn’t meet him, i would definitely give a name “an unknown paradise beach”, not just Cemara Beach.

You will feel like inside Cast Away movie, becoming the main actor, Tom Hanks, when You step your feet in this deserted Cemara Beach at the first time. The difference is that Tom Hanks might had to think thousand ways how to get out of the island, while you will think, why this beautiful Cemara Beach is very beautiful but quiet. Well, you will think that’s good, because then the beach was saved from the thing like mass tourism. Somehow, in many things, mass tourism will be ruining a place called paradise. And we don’t want this beautiful cemara beach ruined

Bringing your own food is also recommended, the beach location is really deserted. Don’t expect finding a supermarket here, there is even no small warung here. But you can buy food you need in Mataram City or warung along the way to the beach. Beautiful beaches like this Cemara Beach can really enchant everyone who came. Make everyone who comes to this beach want to stay longer, or forever if possible. Maybe if Tom Hanks who starred in the Cast Away movie was stranded on this beach, He would not think of a thousand ways to get off the island, but thinking how he can stay in this beautiful beach as long as possible
